One of the great challenges for educators is the challenge of integrating technology meaningfully. What we mean by meaningful integration is that the technology featured improves the delivery of the lesson in terms of rigor, efficiency, end-product and collaboration. Most importantly, we want to incorporate technology that allows students to practice creation and reflection. Students spend enough time consuming with technology. The idea of consuming suggests that student use of technology is passive. On the other hand, creative or productive technology use suggests that the student is making something. Our goal needs to be aimed at empowering producers who use digital media to create understanding and engage in an interactive discourse.
